A most impressive, lavish & well-illustrated record of the "Free Indian" volunteers in the German & Italian Armies in WW2 who, post being captured with the British Indian Army, mainly in North Africa, inspired by Subhas Chandra Bose, were persuaded to join the Axis forces as they saw this as a way to achieve the freedom of Indian from British colonial control.
