Very good & finely reproduced post-war photos. of the battlefields and sights of Ypres, Somme & all other parts of the British front, with descriptive narrative. The photos. were taken before the battlefields were extensively cleared & reconstruction commenced. Orig. paper covd. boards with photo. onlay to front, grey cloth backstrip, gilt, appealing & scarce, little minor scuffing to front o/w VG.
