Very rare complete set comprising the four vols. 'General History' covering campaigns on all fronts with much interesting detail; two vols. 'Surgery of the War'; two vols. 'Diseases of the War'; two vols. 'Hygiene of the War'; 'Pathology' & 'Casualties & Medical Statistics.' All volumes are rare & some are exceedingly hard to find. Complete sets are seldom encountered. This set in very nice state throughout, orig. green cloth, gilt, VG indeed ex-reference lib. with neat blocking to sps. & few internal labels.
