The far superior & scarcer 2nd Edition of the volume concerning early operations in the English Channel & on the Belgian Coast, Coronel & the Falklands. The 1st was published in 1920 & the new Preface to this Revised Edition states that: "A far more comprehensive study is now possible, notably in the issue of the German Official History... Many points that remained in doubt have been settled, details hitherto unknown added, the uncompleted accounts of incidents & operations elaborated, & the maps emended accordingly..."
