The Weekly Appreciations provide accounts of both Allied & German operations, assessments of enemy's reserves & movements, organisation & defences, &c. The Daily Summaries provide closer detail on an ongoing basis as the battle progressed, including intelligence received of enemy's troops & movements, statement of the situation, identifications of PoWs, enemy aircraft activity & so forth.
