This magazine changed subtitles more frequently than it changed editors: originally The Territorial Magazine, early in WW2 it became The Home Guard Monthly, then The Services Magazine & Home Guard Monthly, reverting to simply The Services Magazine after HG stand-down in 1944. Contents largely relate to British military operations on all fronts with excellent range of photos. & descriptions of actions, profiles & portraits of senior commanders, &c., together with descriptions of new technological advances in weaponry, training advice for Home Guards, & much more. In addition to the editorial content there are many evocative period advertisements for military kit, motor cars, alcoholic beverages & so forth. Nice run, few issues worn, generally VG throughout.
