Was an instructor at Staff College, Quetta & Director of Operations & Intelligence at GHQ India during the NWF ops. 1936-39, then Deputy Chief of the General Staff at GHQ Delhi 1940-43 & Mil. Sec. to the Secretary of State for India, 1943-46. Much of interest on the state of the army in India during WW1 & after, NWF operations, &c. VG in dw.   £45
