Including service details of over 3200 from the Croydon area who fell, or were awarded decorations or PoWs, with portraits of around 1800. Orig. maroon cloth, gilt, cloth stained o/w VG with Croydon Corporation presentation bookplate in memory of Charles Frederick Wallis, an art student who enlisted in the Artists's Rifles, 28th London Regiment, in 1915 died of wounds received at Bullecourt on 29th August 1918.
