TF unit arrived in France Oct. 1915 & became part of 51st (Highland) Div. Artillery until reorganised into Army Field Artillery Brigades in February 1917: Western Front throughout the war inc. Vimy 1916, the Somme, Beaumont Hamel, Arras & Passchendaele in 1917, Amiens, Hindenburg Line & Selle in 1918. Plates include named officers groups in 1917 & 1918. Very scarce & excellent history with nominal roll & casualty list, portraits of Fallen Officers (frontis.). Orig. blue cloth, gilt, a worn & stained copy lacking the folding map from the end-pocket.
