Excellent history of Field Coys. of the Bengal S&M group, Royal Indian Engineers, plus roll of awards (by Field Companies). "A detailed account of the Corps' activities in the Western Desert, Malaya, Burma & Italy. This is the closest the the Bengal S&M ever came tp producing a conventional record of their services. It was certainly a considerable improvement on its predecessors." - Perkins 437. Orig. blue cloth, gilt, somewhat rubbed & worn, near VG & rare in any condition. See illustration on our website.
