He has, however, written a most entertaining account of a battery of the 18th Divisional Artillery in the German offensive of March 1918 & of the great British 'return push.'" - Falls. Orig. red cloth, gilt & black, VG with nice ink author inscrip. "To Colonel Freyberg V.C. from the author G.H.F. Nichols." (Freyberg was one of the most highly decorated soldiers of WW1 with four DSOs & numerous other accolades as well as the VC won commanding the Hood Bn. on the Ancre.
