The author won his DCM (& a bar) with the CEF in WW1, joined the RAF in 1940 & served in Cyprus & the Western Desert in ground roles, then transferred to the Army, undertook parachute training & worked behind the lines with Tito's partisans. Orig. boards with wrapper pasted over (as published), VG.
