The author was a captain with divisional signals in the Middle East & Burma & was later a prominent military historian. His history contains a very fine record of the Division's exploits in all the theatres where it served. Rare deluxe edition, bound in full red morocco, raised bands & black leather lettering labels to sp., plus the Division's black & red "Ball of Fire" (or as their rival formations had it - the Flaming Areshole) sign inset to front.
