Orig. grey paper covd. boards with whilte cloth backstrip, sp. tanned sp., light ringmark to front o/w VG & inscribed by the author "Cecil A. Smith with affectionate good wishes - from the Author Charles J. Blomfield Nov. 1921." Note: Charles James Blomfield (1862-1932) was architect to Salisbury & Chester Cathedrals, to St Cross Hospital, Winchester, to St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol, & to the Dean & Chapter of Southwark Cathedral.
