LIDDLE (S.G.M.) Ed. The Brigade Headquarters Story: The Story of 130th Brigade H.Q. (43rd Wessex Division) 1939-46. 1st Ed., 57pp., foolscap, dup. typescript + 4 real photos. No imprint, produced as a Souvenir for the 1951 Brigade HQ Association Reunion.  #60184
[HLMainPic] A rare account of training in the UK followed by the campaign in Normandy & on, landing in mid-June 1944, compiled by an NCO of the Intelligence Section, supplemented by the memories of other HQ personnel & containing much interesting detail on the training period then operations from Normandy breakout through to The Island, Nijmegan, Rhine Crossing, &c. As the HQ was a small group, & this work was prepared for their 1951 reunion, it would seem likely that no more than a couple of dozen copies were made. Orig. printed card wraps., contents stapled within, attractive & rare survival. See illustrations on our website.   £250
