Original typescript history, 3pp., foolscap, neatly mounted on fldg. cartridge paper alongside programme for the unit's 4th Anniversary Drum Head Service, a printed 'In Memoriam' at Stand Down, being a humorous ditty, 3pp. dup. typescript programme for Stand Down parade on 3rd Dec. 1944 & finally 7 fine real photo. plates, neatly mounted with typed captions beneath, of 16th May 1943 Anniversay Parade & demonstration exercise. Useful & detailed record of the 10th Denbigh (or Royal Ordnance Factory) Bn. raised from workers at the factory at Pen-y-Bryn, Wrexham, partly to guard to 3000 acre site. Includes a sample training programme (1942), operation order, organisation of defences such as River Dee Pumping Station &c. Stated to be "For inclusion in the Regimental History of the Royal Welch Fusiliers" but was not actually included & therefore a valuable record, VG & rare. See illustration on our website.

In addition, there was a mobile reserve called the Advance Striking Force which was equipped with 200 bicycles.
