"F" Recce Squadron - a small unit of some 120 men - was composed of Italian parachutists. It was raised in Dec. 1943 for employment under British command & operated in Italy with the British XIII Corps 1944-45. Orig. pale brown cloth, titled in green, with squadron motif to front. VG.
